The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Germany was founded in Frankfurt am Main in 1930 as a private organisation of Spaniards and Germans involved in commercial, industrial and professional activities. Its objective was to develop commercial relations between the two countries.

The Chamber has a pivotal role to play in the commercial and economic relations between Spain and Grmany. Its reason for being is the development and promotion of commerce and investment between the two countries.

The Chamber offers spanish and german companies commercial promotion opportunities by way of a wide range of services, including information, consultancy, as well as logistic and administrative support. Events organised by the Chamber allow these companies to develop the professional contacts they need within the german-Spanish business world, through attendance to seminars, presentations, dinners and business receptions. In addition, they are able to access essential information on the various markets in Spain and in Germany, contained within a range of extensive databases, and to obtain the technical and logistic support which the Chamber offers them.
